During coaching and mentoring I take an intergrative approach which means I draw from a wide variety of different skills sets to support you to achieve your goals. I use a combination of exercise, martial arts, nature, nutrition, therapy, mindfulness, coaching mentoring tools kits, solution focused work and goal setting approaches to change your mindset, understand your self, improve your confidence, achieve your goals and become the best version of your self.
A mentor is someone who shares their knowledge, skills and/or experience, to help another to develop and grow.
A coach is someone who provides guidance to a client on their goals and helps them reach their full potential.
Both coaching and mentoring give the opportunity for individuals to take responsibility for their own personal and career development. I will take time to understand you and the challenges you’re facing and then advise you to develop, grow and gain a better understanding of the problem and your personal experience – with the aim of helping you towards your goals. What matters is that mentors have experience that others can learn from.
The benefits of mentoring include; increasing self-confidence, developing communication and leadership skills, and gaining exposure to new perspectives. As a result, those with mentors are more likely to feel inspired and motivated to progress in their careers. The role of a mentor is to listen, learn, guide and advise. It is about pointing their mentee in the right direction, improve your mindset and equip you with the skills to handle future challenges and situations.

Self-sabotage links in strongly to our thinking styles/ thoughts/ emotions and behaviours that are holding you back and prevent you from achieving what you set out to do. It is Very common that people are unaware of or do not recognise the signs that we are sabotaging ourselves and often we are just left with thoughts that we have failed or are a failure, which manifest with strong emotions such as feelings of anger and frustration.
I recognise this vicious cycle because I have spent years stuck in this cycle with my own behavioiours ( the things I was doing to try to help me) actually being responsible for maintaining my problems) it was only when I learnt more about my own saboteur behaviour that I was able to make links and se patterns of behaviour which were previously being used in an automatic pilot state of mind. I am now able to implement the tools and strategies I have leanrt to change your mindset and achieve your goals.
There are a number of ways in which we can self sabotage
